About Numericable

Numericable was formed in 2007, after former telecommunications competitors Noos and NC Numericable networks merged. In August 2013 Numericable Group SA was formed as the parent company for the Numericable group of companies, which includes activities in Luxembourg and Portugal in addition to France.

In 2014 Numericable bought SFR to form SFR-Numericable. The company operates under the SFR brand.

Numericable was one of France's earliest cable broadband operators and its acquisition of SFR in 2014 fundamentally reshaped the French telecoms market, creating a true fourth national challenger to Orange, Free and Bouygues. Today, the Numericable brand no longer exists independently — all services, billing and customer support have migrated to SFR. If you are a former Numericable customer, your account and contracts are fully managed by SFR.
