Bouygues Telecom offers its broadband Internet services via several technologies: ADSL, VDSL, cable (FTTLA, or Fibre To The Last Amplifier) and fibre optic (FTTH, or Fibre To The Home). The Internet supplier is also the only one in France to provide broadband via 4G technology.

Depending on your needs and your budget, you will have 4 Bboxes to choose from: the Bbox Fit, the Bbox Must, the Bbox Ultym and the Bbox 4G. Aside from price differences, the boxes differ in their features: unlimited calls to fixed lines, unlimited calls to mobile lines to some destinations, Bouygues TV channels included or not...

To subscribe to Bouygues Telecom's Bbox offer, you can contact the English-speaking Selectra advisors by ringing the free number 09 77 55 72 27 (or ask for a free callback), Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 9 pm and 9:30 am to 6:30 pm on Saturdays and on Sundays 9 am to 5 pm then make your choice from Bouygues Telecom's box selection.

If on another hand you have any questions or problems with your box (like a breakdown or a faulty device for instance), you should instead directly contact the Bouygues Telecom Customer Service at 614 from your Bouygues Telecom mobile, or 1064 from a landline or a mobile from another operator.

How to cancel a Bbox subscription

box

You can notify Bouygues of your wish to cancel your Bbox subscription either:

  • Over the phone, by calling 614 from a Bouygues Telecom mobile phone, or 1064 from a fixed-line /mobile phone with a plan from another provider.
  • By mail (tracked and signed for), at the address Service clients Bouygues Telecom 60436 NOAILLES CEDEX

Your cancellation will become effective 10 days after your request has been received. After that, you will be notified, via your online account, of the equipment you need to return to Bouygues and the before what deadline, along with the penalties incurred if you fail to do so (more about this below).

Bear in mind that the cancellation will incur fees of 2 kinds:

  • A fixed fee of €59, regardless of when you cancel
  • An additional fee if you do so before your contract period is over (in most cases, 12 months), corresponding to the sum of all the months you had left to pay according to your contract (unless you can prove the cancellation takes place under exceptional circumstances, such as a move abroad, redundancy, detention, over-indebtedness, death...)...

The good news is that, if you cancel your Bouygues Telecom subscription but to switch to another supplier, you will be able to get refunded up to €100 of the fees by your new provider.

Also note that if you want to cancel your Internet plan with Bouygues Telecom, you will be obliged to return all of the rented Bbox equipment, or else you will have to repay it in full. This is important to bear in mind, as, for instance, a non-returned Bbox will cost you a €70 fine, and a non-returned Bbox TV decoder will be fined €320.

Since Bouygues Telecom agencies aren't allowed to receive your returned equipment, you will have to send your Bbox material back to Bouygues, by mail, at the following address:
