Bouygues Bbox Fibre plans: Fit, Must and Ultym

All three Bbox plans share the same Bouygues fibre network. The fork is: if you don't need TV and want the lowest price, go Fit. If TV and calls are important, Must is the balanced pick. If you need whole-home Wi-Fi coverage or the highest speeds, Ultym adds Wi-Fi 7 with two included repeaters. Bbox Must and Ultym also qualify for a €7/month discount through B.iG, Bouygues's loyalty scheme for customers who take both home internet and a mobile plan (20 GB or more) from them. Bbox Fit Fibre

Internet only, no TV decoder (the set-top box that plugs into your television). The right choice if you already subscribe to Netflix, Disney+ or Apple TV, or use a Smart TV with built-in streaming apps. Wi-Fi 6 is included and speeds handle 4K streaming and video calls across several devices. It's the lowest-priced entry point to Bouygues fibre with no unnecessary extras.

Bbox Must Fibre

The mid-range all-in-one: internet, TV and calls in a single bill. The Android TV 4K decoder comes with Google Assistant and 150+ channels. Prime Video and Universal+ are included for the first months — useful to trial those services without an extra subscription. If you also hold a Bouygues mobile plan (20 GB+), the B.iG programme brings the monthly price down by €7 with no time limit.

Bbox Ultym Fibre

Bouygues's premium offer — the first Wi-Fi 7 certified box in France (January 2025). The practical difference from Must: two Wi-Fi 7 repeaters are included, eliminating dead spots in larger flats or multi-storey houses. 200+ TV channels and speeds up to 8 Gbit/s. Choose Ultym if whole-home Wi-Fi coverage matters, or if you have several power users — 4K gaming, large uploads, multiple simultaneous streams.

Clearance deal: Bbox Wi-Fi 5 (“Fin de Série”)

A clearance offer on Bouygues's previous router generation (Wi-Fi 5). The fibre connection is unchanged, but Wi-Fi 5 has lower throughput than Wi-Fi 6 or 7 in high-device environments. It can represent a good short-term deal for one or two users who don't need the latest Wi-Fi standard — but check availability, as stock is limited by nature.

Bbox 5G: internet without a landline

The Bbox 5G is a plug-and-play solution for addresses where fibre hasn't been installed yet. No engineer visit, no line activation — just plug in and connect. Speeds reach up to 1.1 Gbit/s on the 5G network. Two versions are available: one without TV, and one bundled with a TV pack. How to cancel a Bbox subscription

You can notify Bouygues of your wish to cancel your Bbox subscription either:

Your cancellation becomes effective 10 days after Bouygues receives your request. You are then notified, through your online account, of which equipment you must return, by what deadline, and the penalties you incur if you fail to do so (detailed below).

Bear in mind that the cancellation will incur fees of 2 kinds:

An additional fee applies if you cancel before your contract period ends (12 months in most cases), corresponding to the sum of the months left to run. This early exit fee is waived if you can prove the cancellation follows exceptional circumstances, such as a move abroad, redundancy, imprisonment, over-indebtedness or death.

Also note that if you want to cancel your Internet plan with Bouygues Telecom, you will be obliged to return all of the rented Bbox equipment, or else you will have to repay it in full. This is important to bear in mind, as, for instance, a non-returned Bbox will cost you a €70 fine, and a non-returned Bbox TV decoder will be fined €320.

Since Bouygues Telecom agencies aren't allowed to receive your returned equipment, you will have to send your Bbox material back to Bouygues, by mail, at the following address:

Copy that address exactly as written, including “CEDEX” — it is a French business-post code, not a typo. Ask at the counter for a lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception (tracked and signed for), and keep the receipt: it is your proof of return if the parcel goes missing.
