I co-founded Selectra in 2010 to solve a problem I experienced firsthand: setting up utilities in France as a young adult was needlessly complex. I now lead SEO strategy and editorial direction across 15+ countries, making sure every guide we publish is built on genuine expertise.
About
After graduating from Sciences Po Paris and the University of Saint-Gallen, I launched Selectra with Xavier because we believed that access to clear, independent information about utilities shouldn't be a privilege. Fifteen years later, we have 200+ advisers helping people across 15 countries set up energy, internet, banking and insurance contracts. My focus on en.selectra.info is to make sure every guide reflects real expertise — primary research, regulatory data, and advice shaped by what our English-speaking expat users actually need when they arrive in France. I've also co-authored a book on the French retail energy market, which informs the editorial standards I hold every piece of content to.
