Enalp is an alternative electricity supplier, created in 2006, following a partnership between four local distribution companies (in French: entreprises locales de distribution - ELD) of the Rhône Alpes region with Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR) and Electrabel France. The four founding ELD are the Energie et Service de Seyssel, the Régie d’Electricité de Thônes, the Régie d’Electricité de Vinay and the Régie Electrique des Houches.
In 2012, 17 new ELD joined Enalp. This amalgamation allows smaller ELD to benefit from greater purchasing power and access to a partnership with the CNR.

Located in the Rhône-Alpes region, Enalp's primary clients are winter sports resorts. Enalp's offer makes sense for ski stations, which find a 100% green energy close in line with the environmental concerns of their clients. Enalp purchases electricity from hydroelectric dams of the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR) and guarantees 100% renewable electricity that is inexpensive and locally-produced. High profile ski resort clients such as Meribel, Val d'Isere or Chamonix is also a nice business card for a small alternative supplier as Enalp.
Enalp also provides large industrial customers including the Lyon Saint Exupery Airport. However, Enalp counts very few residential customers.
