Find an EDF (Electricité de France) Boutique in France

All EDF stores closed on January 1, 2019 EDF had announced in 2017 the closure of all EDF boutiques which was completed in 2019. As of January 1, 2019, EDF no longer operates branches throughout France. However, EDF customer service can be contacted by telephone and online through their customer area.

EDF (Electricité de France) Customer Service Options

While in some cases it might be simplest to go to an EDF boutique for your customer service concerns, other ways of reaching EDF may be more efficient.

EDF Customer Service Phone Number

The English-speaking customer service phone number for EDF is 09 69 36 63 83 (+339 69 36 63 83 when called from abroad). This number is free when dialed from a fixed phone line in France, but may be subject to charges depending on your mobile phone provider or your location (i.e. if you are calling from abroad).

When to call EDF

While EDF's customer service is available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., waiting times to reach an EDF advisor over the phone can sometimes be quite long depending on the time of day. In general it's best to call EDF midday or at the end of the week to avoid a lot of time spent on hold. Try to avoid calling in the morning and especially on Mondays if possible, as these times often experience the longest waiting times.
