If you have an existing Orange mobile plan (forfait) with a physical SIM, you can request an eSIM to replace it — useful when switching to a new phone that only takes eSIM, or simply to go SIM-free.
Orange France charges a one-time fee of around €10 to convert a physical SIM to an eSIM. This applies only to existing subscribers switching their line — the Orange Travel tourist eSIM has no such fee.

Log in to Espace Client
Go to orange.fr and sign in to your customer account, or use the Orange & Moi app on your current phone.
Order your eSIM
Navigate to “My lines” → select your line → “Replace my SIM card” → choose eSIM. Confirm the ~€10 fee.
Receive the QR code
Orange emails your eSIM QR code within minutes. Your physical SIM stays active until the eSIM is scanned.
